 Young "DISCO-NAUT" would gain the most benefit from his long and loving
relationship with his favorite uncle, "Uncle Bobo Larrue". Uncle Bobo was a Sardine salesman working for the local Wakeshaw
Sardine Associated Clothing Maker Association of America, and was able to pull strings at his office to get young "DISCO-NAUT"
a job working in the Sardine Harvesting and Pink Bow division.
Because of his inherent
knowledge of both sardine biology and little frilly bows, it was here that "DISCO-NAUT" really shined. While the job did keep him
out of school (instigating, no doubt, his lifetime battle with illiteracy), it was well worth it since his two dollars per week wage
allowed him to purchase many comic books and candy bars from the local store.
