Here are a few animations I have made using
Blender on my Linux box. They
are all quite old. I have some new stuff, but nothing I feel really moved to place on this site.

Solar System
My third "real" animation. A little trip through a part of our local
solar system. My intentions were to combine this with the spacetaxi one
previously, and then make another where the taxi picked up a passenger
on Earth... but I never got around to this. I may come back and finish
it in the future. The textures for Junpiter and Earth are from Nasa photos.
The texture for the Moon was simply two different spackled effects with
different gradients combined into one (I think it worked pretty well).
The textures for the other planets and the asteroid belt I created in GIMP.
I actually screwed up in this animation: During my hustle to do it, I forgot
Mars... which is something I didn't want to do. Oh well. The total animation
took my computer around 4 hours to render.

Crazy Space Taxi
My second "real" animation. This time, no ika's were hurt in
the process ;) . Just your average crazy spacetaxi driver. Please note, this crappy little
animation predates Sega's Crazi Taxi by around three years.

The Claw
My first animation with blender that constituted more than a camera
careening about a landscape sparsely populated by simple geometric primitives.
The lighting looks quite dark on most systems (other than my own), which
has proven to be a reoccuring problem. Currently (and I see no reason why
I should change this) there is only one resolution.

Unreal Stoned
Quite possibly several copyright violations. Sorry about that. It's just
a funny animation I made (using a combination of the Gimp, mplayer, and
a custom made perl script) from several Unreal Tournament images.
See, I run this gaming clan and we meet sometimes online
to play games like Unreal Tournament (I play under Linux, of course). Well, one
night our game was interrupted by a Farscape season premere, and all but three
players left to watch the show. Those of us left goofed off for quite some time.
The screenshots of that goof-off became this animation. Enjoy!
The movie is in Divx4... so you'll need a proper player (mplayer is my fav for
Linux, but you Windows people should probably go here.
